Volunteering
- Do you enjoy spending time caring for animals?
- Have you a minimum of 4 hours one morning every week to spare?
- Are you reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious?
- Would you be prepared to work hard for free?
If you can answer yes to all of the above questions, you could be the person we are looking for!
Volunteering is very rewarding & a great way of making new friends and gaining confidence.
We are looking to recruit committed volunteers aged over 18 to help at the Sanctuary in Little Irchester. Our volunteers come in for a block of 4 hours at a time. If you are able to commit yourself to doing this on a regular basis, we would like to hear from you. You can put your name down to do specific tasks, ie dogwalking or mucking out, or you may just be happy to help out generally where required. We even need volunteers to do fundraising as and when required, so if you don’t want to get your hands dirty you may wish to help out in that way.
We do ask that you are reliable, and that if you arrange to come in on a particular day that you do turn up. If you are genuinely unable to come in due to illness, we would ask that you give us as much notice as possible so that we can ensure we have enough cover.
No experience is required just an affinity & love of all animals and reliablilty is essential.
If you feel you can help, please email catchatsally@hotmail.co.uk
We also welcome corporate groups so if your employer allows you days each year to volunteer, please email in for more information and to book a date admin@animals-in-need.org
We hope to hear from you soon.
