This group of animals are now permanent residents at Animals In Need for various reasons. They love visitors so why not pop in and meet them. If any one of them are really special to you, why not talk to a member of staff about sponsoring them?
Meet the stunning Robbie! He moved into Animals In Need in Sepember 2013.
Gertrude & Freda are the senior members of our tortoise colony, they have been joined by the youngsters Alan & Alice.
Sherman is a 16 year old Sulcatta tortoise, and joined us at the request of his family as he needed more space to roam.
These cheeky girls were rescued from the dairy industry and moved into Animals In Need in March 2019 at just a few days old.
George is a huge character in a tiny body! This cheeky chap is very popular with staff and visitors and is always first in the queue when treats are on offer.
We currently have 19 sheep in our care – some were cade lambs and other rescued as adults that had fallen in rivers or been trapped in mud. They all have names and individual personalities.
These gorgeous characters arrived in August 2021 and will be permanent residents.

Mindy is a cheeky character, who loves her food, especially pumpkins! She likes a fuss which makes her popular with visitors.
Hatton is a handsome 3 yr old AMB. He loves the kennel ladies but is wary of strangers. His favourite thing to do is chase tennis balls.
Don’t be fooled by Chester’s tiny stature, he has a huge character! He gets on great with the other ponies and loves the attention he gets from visitors.
Wesley is the most recent addition to our pony family. He is young and mischievous and keeps his carers on their toys!
