Mateo is a sweet-natured young sighthound with a gentle heart. He’s keen to make friends—especially with other sighthounds—but can be a little unsure at first due to a previous bad experience with another dog. With patient introductions and a kind, understanding home, he quickly starts to relax and show his lovely personality.  He absolutely adores people and thrives on human companionship. One of his greatest joys is stretching his legs with a good sprint around an enclosed field, where his playful, carefree side really shines. Mateo would do best with owners who can help rebuild his confidence and give him the reassurance he needs to feel safe
