Animal Type: Guinea Pigs
Viewings will be strictly by appointment only, and arrangements need to be made via Email admin@animals-in-need.org Please do bear with us as we anticipate we will be exceptionally busy for the first few weeks, but your Email will be directed to the appropriate team member who will respond as soon as they are able. Applications will not be on a first-come first-served basis as we are looking for the right homes for the animals in our care but if you are not a good match hopefully we can point you in the right direction.
Please note the sanctuary will have reduced visiting times – we will be open 12 – 3 pm Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If you wish to view any animal you are interested in rehoming though, you must have a pre-arranged appointment.
Guinea Pigs are sociable animals and we always rehome them to live in pairs/groups. They need suitable indoor accommodation away from any draughts and a nice lush lawn for them to munch on in the warmer weather. We ask for a minimum donation of £20 for a female and £40 for a castrated male.
