Joey is a very intelligent 3 yr old Patterdale X.   He is looking for an adult-only breed experienced home.  He will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.  He does not cope well with strangers, so his new family will need to be willing to take a slow approach in getting to know him with multiple visits to the shelter.  Once he has been given time to build up a bond he is a lovely, playful friendly boy, who will be a loyal companion.  A home with minimal visits would suit him best, with a safe space he can go to when there are visitors.  He is still a young boy, so a home willing and able to provide training to work on his issues will be given preference.  Joey cannot live with children or other animals.  He does need to be muzzled on walks to keep himself and others safe.
